Internally, the WEgrid TRUST will be the "work-horse" of the WEgrid Enterprise. Its primary function is to administer the development, maintenance, and operation of the World-Education-Grid.

The WEgrid TRUST will be responsible for 1) procuring the services of system contractors (to implement the specifications coming from WEgrid BOARDS), 2) managing the implementing and testing of the system specifications by the selected contractors, 3) managing the deployment of the resulting new and updated system components, and 4) managing the day-to-day operations the World-Education-Grid.
